• Do not use automated scripts to crawl or index the site except public search engines or approved API access; abusive scraping is prohibited.

4. Prohibited Content

You must not upload or submit any of the following. Content that violates these rules will be removed and may result in account suspension.

• Explicit sexual content or pornographic material. Pixbooru is for SFW images only.
• Child sexual content. Any sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited.
• Bestiality or sexual depictions involving animals.
• Graphic or grotesque content. Extreme mutilation or graphic bodily fluids are not allowed.
• Paywalled/premium site content or paysite previews.
• Heavily watermarked content where the poster is not the copyright owner.
• Poor quality/compressed images with visible artifacts (where quality is clearly degraded).
• Unauthorized doujinshi/manga/light-novel scans (comic strips may be allowed in some cases).
• Photorealistic porn, deepfakes, or photo-realistic AI porn.

Pixbooru curates images found across the web. If you believe content violates these rules, contact staff to report it.

5. API & CDN Usage

• If you use the Pixbooru API or serve content from our CDN, you may not display advertisements or require paywalls for that content. This applies to bots, apps, and websites.
• Excessive or abusive use of the API may be rate-limited or blocked.
